Updates and Reminders

  • For students who paid their 8th grade dues, please be on the lookout for permissions slips for the party Main Event and Movie Day coming home with your student in the next few days. 

  • If you can volunteer for the party at Main Event or the Fun Day (after Field Day on May 20), please sign up here.

  • If you pre-purchased a yard sign and have not picked it up, they will be in the Main Office after 10 am on Wednesday, May 8.

  • If you did not purchase a yard sign and want one, we have a few extras.  Please reach out to us via email no later than Monday, May 6.

  • There are a few extra 8th grade t-shirts, so if your student lost theirs or did not receive one, please email us with your student's name, size needed and their first period teacher's name.

  • NAHS Communications.  For anyone wanting to get a jump start on learning more about high school, now is a good time to start keeping up with the many communication tools at NAHS. 
    • Subscribe to the Warrior Weekly newsletter at bit.ly/warriorweekly, and see past newsletters at bit.ly/WarriorWeeklyArchive.
    • Download the North Atlanta app. (Students should download it too.) Search for North Atlanta High School in the Google Play or App Store.  This is used by the admin team to share key school info.
    • Follow NAHS on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/NorthAtlantaHighSchool) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/warrior_weekly/).  There are many Instagram accounts for various clubs at NAHS as well.  To find them, just view all the accounts that "Warrior_Weekly" is following to see if any are of interest to you or your student. Instagram is how most of the clubs communicate (https://www.instagram.com/warrior_weekly/following/).

 

Event Details

Movie Day.  Students who paid their dues will go see "Godzilla v. Kong:  The New Empire" at AMC Parkway Pointe on Thursday, May 16.  Everyone attending will receive popcorn and a drink (no concessions will be sold).

 

 

 

Party at Main Event.  If your student's dues were paid, they'll also be able to participate in the party at Main Event on Friday, May 17.  Everyone will receive 2 slices of pizza and unlimited sodas plus unlimited bowling, laser tag, gravity ropes, pool and shuffle board and 2 hours of unlimited video games (no tickets or prizes).

 

 

 

8th Grade Promotion.  The ceremony is set for Thursday, May 23, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.  See flyer below with important information!
