Sutton Clubs are an important and fun part of the middle school experience. The SMS PTA works with Sutton teachers who sponsor a wide range of Clubs to meet your child's interests.  Most clubs are full year clubs unless specified otherwise. Unless stated otherwise, most clubs will begin to meet immediately after the Labor Day holiday. Clubs Descriptions are typically updated by the last week of August after which time you can click on the "Club Description" icon below to check first meeting date. 

 

Make sure to SignUp|Login and confirm your contact information is up to date for each school year to ensure you receive the Sutton Source, the SMS weekly newsletter.  All Club updates will be announced there, in addition to this website.

-Students may attend initial meetings without registering for any Clubs.  Students can use the first two weeks of September to try out different clubs, so they can decide which one(s) they'd like to attend regularly. Students should be registered in their club(s) of choice by third week of September using the Sign Up/Login button below.

-All clubs are 1 hour long and run all year long unless stated otherwise.

Scholarships

  • At Sutton Middle School, we do not want any student to miss the opportunity to participate in a club, and we recognize that families have different circumstances. 
  • Sutton PTA offers one scholarship for Sutton PTA Clubs per year per student, up to a $100 Club Fee. 
  • We cannot offer scholarships for non-PTA Clubs that are taught by outside instructors, such as Chess Club.
  • Students are encouraged to visit a club and make sure that they wish to join before applying for a scholarship.
