Warrior Welcome - Thursday, January 15
Sutton 8th grade students and their parents are invited to attend North Atlanta High School's Warrior Welcome on Thursday, January 15, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the NAHS auditorium. This event is a great opportunity for families to learn more about the transition to high school, take a tour, pick up NAHS merch and get important information to help students start their journey with confidence. We look forward to welcoming both students and parents; please no student drop offs.
Beginning at 5:30, families will have the opportunity to speak to student representatives from several programs and clubs offered at the school and to buy spirit wear. Please note that these representatives will only be available until 6:00, so families are encouraged to visit the tables prior to the beginning of the program.
The program will then begin in the auditorium at 6:00. During the program, families will hear from the North Atlanta Principal, Dr. Angela Mitchell, the NAHS PTSA, and receive a general overview of what the upcoming school year will look like for 9th graders. (Please note that NAHS counselors will host an in-depth curriculum night at North Atlanta for rising 9th grade families on February 3 focusing more on academics, and the APS District DLI office will host a virtual DLI-specific curriculum night January 28.)
Following the program, families will be able to take part in student-led tours, which will end between 7:00 and 7:30 pm.
Families should park in the parking deck then walk across the pedestrian bridge connecting the parking deck and the school to enter the building and then follow the signs to the auditorium. For anyone needing handicap access, please park in the spaces outside of the main building entrance and enter the building through this main entrance. Once inside, please take the elevators to the third floor then follow the signs to the auditorium.

- Tuesday, February 3: Rising 9th Grade Parent Curriculum Night at 6:00 pm in the auditorium
- Friday, February 6: NAHS Pathway Preview Fair at Sutton
- Monday-Friday February 9-13: Rising 9th Grade classroom lesson in the Science classes at Sutton
